These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reminoo mobile app and the reminoo.com website ("Reminoo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Reminoo.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Reminoo. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Reminoo is a location-based reminder app. It uses your device location and geofencing to notify you when you arrive at or leave places you choose. Location reminders depend on your device, its operating system, permissions, battery settings, and network, and are not guaranteed to trigger at the exact moment or at all. Do not rely on Reminoo for reminders where a missed or delayed notification could cause harm, loss, or a safety or medical risk.
You retain ownership of the reminders, categories, saved places, and other content you create ("Your Content"). You grant us the limited right to store and process Your Content solely to provide the service (for example, syncing it to your account and triggering reminders). We do not sell Your Content. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you choose to make a reminder public, its title, note, location, and your @username become visible to other users on the community map. If you share a reminder by link, a temporary copy is created so the recipient can view and save it (links expire after 7 days). Both features are optional and off by default. You are responsible for what you publish or share.
You agree not to:
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Reminoo offers a free tier and may offer paid plans. Where paid plans are available, pricing, billing, and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase and are processed by the applicable app store (for example, Google Play). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your app-store account before the renewal date. Except where required by law or app-store policy, payments are non-refundable. Free-tier limits may change over time.
Reminoo relies on third-party services including Google Firebase (authentication and data storage) and Google Maps Platform (map display). Your use of features powered by these providers is also subject to their respective terms.
You may delete your account at any time in-app (Settings → Delete Account) or via reminoo.com/delete-account, which removes your reminders, categories, saved places, public reminders, and profile. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Reminoo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and reliability of notifications. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reminoo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate reminders, loss of data, or unauthorized access. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Reminoo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
